1. Our commitment

WallsPro’s wallpapers come from our own selection and from community submissions, which we review before publishing. Even so, something that shouldn’t be there may slip through. If you own a work, or act on the owner’s behalf, and believe a wallpaper uses it without permission, we will take it down after checking your notice.

2. The quickest way: from the app

Open the wallpaper, tap Report (top right) and choose “Copyright infringement”. The report reaches us with the wallpaper already identified. You need to be signed in to report.

3. Formal notice by email

If you’d rather not use the app or want a formal record, write to [email protected] with the subject “Copyright” and include:

  1. Your full name, postal address, phone number and email.
  2. The protected work: a link to the original or a description that identifies it.
  3. The WallsPro wallpaper: its category and title, and a screenshot of it in the app.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf (under penalty of perjury, if the U.S. DMCA applies to you).
  6. Your signature: typing your full name at the end is enough.

If anything is missing, we’ll ask you for it; an incomplete notice may delay the takedown.

4. What happens next

5. If we removed your wallpaper

If you submitted the wallpaper and believe it was removed by mistake, or you have permission to use it, you can send a counter-notice with the subject “Counter-notice”. Include your name and contact details, which wallpaper was removed, why you believe it’s a mistake (with any evidence you have, such as the license or the creator’s permission), a good-faith statement that the information is accurate, and your signature.

We will forward your counter-notice to the person who made the claim. If within 10 to 14 business days they don’t show us that they have started legal action, we may publish the wallpaper again.

6. Repeat infringers

We close accounts that repeatedly infringe others’ rights and may block their submissions, taking into account the number and severity of the cases.

7. False notices

Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice may make you liable for the damage it causes. If you’re not sure whether a use infringes your rights, consult a legal advisor first.

8. Trademarks, likeness and privacy

You can follow the same procedure if a wallpaper uses your trademark without permission or if you appear in a photo published without your consent. Write to us with the subject “Content removal” and we’ll review it as a priority.
